Understanding and Enabling Push Notifications

Feature Description: HENO’s push notifications make sure you’re always in the loop no matter where you are! This feature allows users to receive mobile & desktop notifications on their mobile devices and computers when one of the following 3 message types are received in their HENO accounts. Note- number 1 and 2 come to users whenever the clinic receives a message; whereas, number 2 comes to users when they personally receive inner-office messages:
- Patient text messages (clinic wide messages received)
- Inner-Office Messages (personal messages received)
- RCM Tickets (only applies to HENO billing service customers)
To Enable Push Notifications:
Preferences
- Navigate to your account preferences within the application or website settings.
Push Notifications
- Locate the "Push Notifications" section in your preferences.
Select Enable Push Notifications
- Toggle the switch or checkbox labeled "Enable Push Notifications" to the 'on' position.
Choose Items for Notifications
- Once push notifications are enabled, you may have the option to select specific items you wish to receive notifications. Choose your preferences accordingly.
If It Keeps Spinning, Ensure Pop-ups and Notifications are Allowed in Site Settings: If you encounter issues with enabling push notifications and notice that the process keeps spinning without completion, it's essential to check your browser's site settings.
