Understanding and Enabling Push Notifications

Feature Description: HENO’s push notifications make sure you’re always in the loop no matter where you are!  This feature allows users to receive mobile & desktop notifications on their mobile devices and computers when one of the following 3 message types are received in their HENO accounts.  Note- number 1 and 2 come to users whenever the clinic receives a message; whereas, number 2 comes to users when they personally receive inner-office messages: 

  1. Patient text messages (clinic wide messages received)
  2. Inner-Office Messages (personal messages received)
  3. RCM Tickets (only applies to HENO billing service customers)

 

To Enable Push Notifications:

Preferences

  1. Navigate to your account preferences within the application or website settings.

Push Notifications

  1. Locate the "Push Notifications" section in your preferences.

Select Enable Push Notifications

  1. Toggle the switch or checkbox labeled "Enable Push Notifications" to the 'on' position.

Choose Items for Notifications

  1. Once push notifications are enabled, you may have the option to select specific items you wish to receive notifications. Choose your preferences accordingly.

 If It Keeps Spinning, Ensure Pop-ups and Notifications are Allowed in Site Settings: If you encounter issues with enabling push notifications and notice that the process keeps spinning without completion, it's essential to check your browser's site settings.
