Pre-Authorization Submittal System will now use Heno Tickets

In HENO, authorizations play a crucial role in managing patient insurance policies and ensuring coverage for medical services. This knowledge base article provides a comprehensive guide on how to create authorizations for patients within the HENO platform. By following these step-by-step instructions, users can efficiently set up authorizations for insurance policies, enabling smooth billing processes and ensuring compliance with coverage requirements.
Pre-Auth ticket will be used for communication, etc. while the Pre-Auth is worked.
Steps to Create Authorizations:
Access the Patients Tab Drop-down:
Navigate down to the Pre-Auth Request.
Click on Create:
Select the Patient from the patient drop-down, the patients Case, Policy, Referring Provider, and Treatment Location will auto populate.
Enter the Authorzation Start date and End Date, # of Visits, Request Notes (If Any), and CPT codes.
There is an option to upload any relevant information if needed.
*Then check the Disclaimer box (Note: This box has to be check in order to Create Pre-Auth ticket)
Click on Create to initiate ticket for a Pre-Authorization Request for Patient
- Existing Pre Auth will still show under Patients → Pre-Auth Requests
- Pre-Auths must be enabled for Practice in Heno Management
