How to Add a Provider Picture to the Patient Portal

Step-by-Step Guide to Adding Provider Picture to Patient Portal

Step 1: Access the Patient Portal Settings

  • Navigate to the Patient Portal tab located on the left-hand side of the screen.
  • Once there, ensure that the option to Display Default Provider Picture in Portal is turned on.

Step 2: Navigate to User Profile

  • Next, go to the Admin tab on the left-hand side.
  • Under this tab, click on the User tab to access the list of user profiles.

Step 3: Select the Provider's Profile

  • From the user list, find and select the provider profile whose picture you want to add or update.
  • This will open the provider's profile.

Step 4: Update the Provider’s Picture

  • At the top of the provider's profile page, locate the Change Picture link.
  • Click on this link, and a new window will appear with two options:
    1. Take a Picture: If you have a webcam connected to your computer, you can take a live photo.
    2. Upload a Picture: You can also choose to upload an existing photo from your computer.

Select your preferred option and complete the upload or photo process.

Step 5: Apply Changes

  • After uploading or taking the picture, review it to ensure it is clear and correctly displayed.
  • Once satisfied, click Apply changes in the upper right-hand corner to finalize the setup.

Step 6: Preview the Patient Portal

  • The provider’s picture will now be displayed in the patient portal.
  • Review the portal to confirm that the picture appears as expected.
