Step-by-Step Guide to Adding Provider Picture to Patient Portal
Step 1: Access the Patient Portal Settings
- Navigate to the Patient Portal tab located on the left-hand side of the screen.
- Once there, ensure that the option to Display Default Provider Picture in Portal is turned on.
Step 2: Navigate to User Profile
- Next, go to the Admin tab on the left-hand side.
- Under this tab, click on the User tab to access the list of user profiles.
Step 3: Select the Provider's Profile
- From the user list, find and select the provider profile whose picture you want to add or update.
- This will open the provider's profile.
Step 4: Update the Provider’s Picture
- At the top of the provider's profile page, locate the Change Picture link.
- Click on this link, and a new window will appear with two options:
- Take a Picture: If you have a webcam connected to your computer, you can take a live photo.
- Upload a Picture: You can also choose to upload an existing photo from your computer.
Select your preferred option and complete the upload or photo process.
Step 5: Apply Changes
- After uploading or taking the picture, review it to ensure it is clear and correctly displayed.
- Once satisfied, click Apply changes in the upper right-hand corner to finalize the setup.
Step 6: Preview the Patient Portal
- The provider’s picture will now be displayed in the patient portal.
- Review the portal to confirm that the picture appears as expected.
